Work with me

Motivational Speaker • Spiritual Teacher • Guide for Emotional Healing

Alongside my work in Yoga and education, I speak on two subjects that are near and dear to my heart. The importance of body image and mental health, and the power of travel for all women as an agent to heal. Each of these cover a range of themes.

I offer:

  • School talks and assemblies (online or in-person where possible)
  • Workshops for small groups of girls/boys/youth
  • Parent & educator sessions

My approach is both honest and clinically aware: I emphasize practical tools for self-respect and inner strength. These talks are not therapy, but they can complement therapeutic support by giving concrete practices for healthy bodies, and minds.

Beyond the Mirror: Talk to me like you see me

Speaking directly and sensitively to girls and young women, I explore:

  • How cultural and social pressures shape the way we see our bodies

  • The hidden cost of perfectionism, comparison and constant self-judgment

  • What helped me begin to look beyond the mirror

  • Simple breath and body awareness tools girls can use when they feel overwhelmed, anxious or “not enough”

My message: your worth is not defined by your reflection, measurements or achievements. Combining personal story, education and practical techniques, I create a safe and supportive space for honest conversation—and for youth to begin seeing themselves with more gentleness and respect.

Ideal for:
  • Middle and high school students
  • Youth groups and community programs
  • Girl’s leadership or wellness events

Do Some Good in This World

I help people who carry invisible wounds—estrangement, grief, anger, and complicated family histories—discover a more compassionate, spiritually grounded way to live.

My work is rooted in what has shaped me most deeply: decades of travel through India, working overseas, a devoted yoga and meditation practice, and the brave adventures of discovering how an estranged parent can still be one of our greatest teachers. An unexpected message planted that seed 35 years ago.

While I was living in an old hotel complex in downtown Toronto, my father came to visit. After he left, a young man visiting his friend approached me. He said he’d seen my dad and sensed something familiar in our backgrounds. Then, before walking away, he offered just one sentence:  “Do some good in this world.”

That simple phrase became a quiet compass for my life and my work. Today, through my talks and workshops, I explore why Yoga (not as a religion, not as a spiritual practice), but as Yoga, is so vital in a world where many of us carry hidden pain from our families, culture, or past. I speak honestly about estrangement, grief, and anger, and about how forgiveness is not a single moment, but a verb—something we practice, revisit, and slowly grow into. I believe we all have the power to change the game. Even when (or if) full healing isn’t possible, we can discover how to live with our scars in ways that are wholesome, grounded, and good.
